ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Following the success of the Fifth International Conference on “ADVANCES IN STEEL, POWER AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY” held at O. P. Jindal University from June 15-17, 2022, O. P. Jindal University is pleased to announce the Sixth International Conference on Steel, Power and Construction Technology (ICASPCT). This event, organized in collaboration with Jindal Steel & Power, Raigarh, India; Sohar University, Oman; Metropolia University, Finland; and ASM International Eastern India Raigarh Chapter, will take place at O. P. Jindal University, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India during April 23-25, 2025.

ICASPCT 2025 aims to explore new frontiers of innovation by bringing together distinguished researchers, scientists, and experts from academia and industry worldwide who are working on advancements in steel, power, and construction technology. The conference is designed to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, dissemination of research findings, and discussion of practical challenges and solutions in these fields. It offers a platform for academicians, scientists, research scholars, and students to establish connections and foster collaborations, both nationally and internationally, with universities and institutions across the globe.

The conference will focus on the Indian steel, power, and construction industries, emphasizing the entire value chain—from mining to steel production and the delivery of steel products to end consumers. These sectors are crucial to the development of any modern economy and are considered the backbone of human civilization. The per capita consumption of steel is often used as a key indicator of a country’s socioeconomic development and living standards.
